Grant & Bailey In Arizona

We both grew up in Phoenix, AZ. Bailey comes from a huge family with 9 sisters and two brothers. Grant has 2 younger brothers. We met in school at Grand Canyon University in 2014 and got married in 2017. We have 2 beautiful girls, Harley (4) and Isla (2). About 2 years ago, we moved from Phoenix, AZ, to Prescott, AZ, to start a homebuilding company. Grant is a builder and carpenter, and Bailey helps with much of the office work and design of the homes.

Grant spends most of his time building houses. He is a carpenter and builder. He loves the process of seeing something go from just an idea and some empty land to a finished home that someone gets to live in and make memories in! When not working, most of his time is spent with our two girls, playing dolls, and having tea parts (and trying to get them to play some sports with me!). Grant also enjoys playing guitar and working out in our garage gym.

Bailey is a Christian mom and wife. She loves spending time with family, gardening, cooking, working out, being outside and working with Grant. She graduated with a degree in Forensic Science and worked as a Forensic Scientist until starting the construction business. Going on trips to the beach or the mountains are her absolute favorite things to do. Since working in construction, she discovered her love for designing houses and using her hands to build with tools. She loves to plan outings and activities for her kids and family because it is so important for her to connect with them each day.

We have two daughters. Harley is almost 5 and loves to ride her bike, dance, bake, hike, and be with her sister. She is in gymnastics once a week and is doing really well! Harley has always told me that she is praying in her heart for another sibling. Isla is 2 and is so much fun and has so much energy. Her favorite things to do are dance, eat, ride her scooter and be with her big sister. She will be a great age to be around a baby as well. While she definitely follows her older sister's lead, she is very independent. She always wants to be outside no matter the weather. She can't wait to also do gymnastics with Harley when she turns three.

We moved into our new house late last year. We built and designed this house ourselves. Our new neighborhood is very family friendly! There are young families all around us. We will be putting in a large grass area in the spring, a play structure with slides and swings and a space to ride bikes. We believe strongly that kids should grow up finding things to do outside and using their imagination. We plan to create space for that in our new house. We built our new house to have two bedrooms and a loft space upstairs. One bedroom will be the nursery and the other will be the girl’s room. The loft space will be for toys, crafts and TV.

Our neighborhood is active and enjoys being outside. There are also many good schools to choose from in Prescott and Prescott valley. There are many parks very close by and we go to them often. They have large grass areas for playing sports or just running around.

Bailey comes from a huge family. She has 9 sisters and 2 brothers. They are all married and have kids now, so there are 38 children. The cousin crew is strong! Every holiday is a huge gathering! We play lots of games, exchange gifts at Christmas, and celebrate every birthday. We all travel to Montana every summer and stay in a house on the lake. We stay at the lake for a few weeks and just play, eat and laugh together. The support and encouragement around me is incredible.

Grant grew up with two brothers and his mom. They grew up very close knit and supportive of each other. He lost his dad when he was four years old. His mom was a strong and amazing woman who raised them well. She has always made every birthday, holiday or event a special one; celebrating the little moments in life because life is precious.

Bailey comes from a family of 12 siblings. So, when we hang out it is usually with one of the sisters in the family. All of the siblings have kids, so our two daughters also get to have fun playing with their cousins. If we are not with friends or family, we are out hiking or riding bikes. Being active is a huge part of our life and our girls love it.

We also love to travel! We have been to many places with our kids and plan to continue to take them places. We believe that it is important to show the world to your children. When we are on vacation, we try to experience the local culture and unique spots as much as possible.

We love being parents and want to grow our family. We are passionate about family and helping a child in need.
