Connor & Lexi In Ohio

We are Connor and Lexi. We have known each other for over 5 years and have been together for 3 ½ years. We met while working together at Honda East Liberty Auto Plant as line associates. We both still work for Honda in different roles. Connor is a Line Support Staff at Marysville Auto Plant (Honda) and Lexi is a Quality Analyst at the same location. We got married in November 2022. We also have 2 children, Jace and Greyson. They are Lexi's children from a previous marriage but Connor loves them like his own.

Jace is about to be twelve. He is going into 6th grade and starting middle school, which he is super excited about! He is an amazing big brother who also does amazing with his younger cousins and enjoys being around them. His interests include all things technology (Xbox, computers, VR headsets), anime, Fortnite, kayaks and going to the zoo. He has wanted to be a Zoologist or Zoo Vet since he was 4 years old.

Greyson is 6 and entering kindergarten. He is shy at first but once he gets to know you he will talk your ear off. Greyson has decided he wants to be either a WWE wrestler or a monster truck driver or both! He loves to be outside doing just about anything, riding bikes or jumping on the trampoline, and wants to help with anything we are doing in the yard.

Our family also includes two fur babies. They are Buddy, our Basset Hound and Newt (Newton), our Miniature Dachshund. They are both a little over a year old and about a month apart in age. They love to play with the boys and each other. They also do not know a stranger and are happy to see everyone all the time.

In our free-time, we enjoy spending time together as a family. Family is so important to us, including our rather large extended family. We also enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, playing outdoors, playing with our dogs and going to the zoo.

We live in a quiet neighborhood with a decent sized yard where our children can play outside with our dogs. Our home has lots of play and family space and is currently 3 bedrooms. Once our basement is finished, we will have an additional bedroom that our oldest has already claimed for himself.

Our town has great schools. We are also a bike ride away from a large park with a splashpad, baseball/ softball fields, lots of playground equipment, a lake that can be kayaked, fished and even has a beach area to swim in.

We are both very close to our families, including our extended families. Connor is the oldest of five siblings, having one brother and three sisters. Lexi is one of five as well, with two brothers and two sisters. Both of us come from blended families with half siblings and step siblings and full siblings. With that many siblings between us, there are several nieces and nephews and cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents around all the time. We are so lucky! Several of them like to just drop by regularly to visit and hangout with us and the boys. We are both very close to our siblings and consider them to be our best friends. We love spending time with them and our nieces and nephews.

We make sure to spend holidays and special events with our large extended families. During these events Connor, his dad, and Grandpa are notorious for "taking forever to leave". If you get the 3 of them to together, they will sit and just talk for hours and hours, well after the party/event is over. It has become something we regularly joke about. But it's amazing to see them that happy to spend time together.

As a family, we love fishing, kayaking, hiking, walks at Grandpa woods, playing video games, going on motorcycle rides and relaxing in the hammock. Connor loves relaxing by taking care of the lawn. We also love going on vacations to the beach, doing new things and seeing new places. Greyson currently plays tee ball and wants to play football and wrestling in the future. We love going to all his games and practicing with him. All 4 of us love to just sit on the trampoline and play games like 4 square and ride bikes. We also like playing with our dogs.

Aside from wanting to provide unconditional love and support to another child to call our own, we have decided to adopt due to Lexi’s medical condition and the side effects of it. After the birth of her second child, she had some complications that unfortunately led to her having to have a partial hysterectomy, taking away any chance of naturally growing our family. We just knew as we became a family that we would want to expand our family with more children. Getting to expand our family through adoption would give us so much joy and fulfillment.
