We are a married, same-sex female couple living in central Texas. We met online 11 years ago (2012), when Krista messaged Brenda after viewing Brenda's profile pictures that showed common interests such as riding dirt motorbikes, travel, camping, family gatherings, first responder experience, etc. It was clear that we were both adventurous, driven and had medical interests. We were drawn to each other since we first started talking and dating in New York City, and ultimately got married 9 years ago (2014).
Krista works from home as an Applications System Analyst for a company that provides robotics and software for pharmacies worldwide. Brenda works as an Emergency Room Doctor since graduating medical school in 2012 and loves her job helping people during their worst hours and emergency situations.
We both love to travel to unique places, both domestically and abroad at least once per year. We also recently started building our dream home (with plenty of room for kids) on our family's 34-acre property that includes an entire valley in central Texas. We love working outside and spend a lot of time making improvements on our land and spending time with visiting extended family from all over the US. When not working on our land, Krista spends time wood working and making epoxy tables out of fallen tree limbs. Brenda spends time fixing cars, hiking, and looking for arrowheads. During the summer, we both enjoy relaxing and occasionally fishing and swimming from our boat at the lake.
We both have a strong sense of family and understand the importance of enjoying today, but also planning for tomorrow. We have been blessed with so many gifts in life and want to share our lives and blessings with future generations. We are both the youngest of 3 siblings in our families and understand the importance of having siblings your age to bond with and grow up with. Ultimately, we would like to adopt 2-3 children close in age so they can play and grow together. As children, we want them to have playmates, but as adults, we want them to have a brother or sister to tackle life challenges with. We would love to have grandchildren someday and hope for them to have siblings and cousins of their own. We want to raise responsible adults with self-confidence, happiness, strong morals, and a strong work ethic so they can be successful in whatever life path they choose. We value family, education, honesty, and life experiences.
