Dear Birthmother,

We want to thank you for taking the time to look over our profile and possibly consider us in the potential adoption of your baby. We cannot fathom what you are currently going through with this process, but we are grateful that you would consider us in helping us build a family.

We are both individuals, and have always wanted to get married one day and have children of our own, so when we found each other and we shared the same dreams, we knew it was meant to be. We would love the opportunity to share our world with him/her and all the wonderful things we can offer.

About Us

We have been together for over ten years and live in the suburbs outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We met through mutual friends where we instantly connected and soon started seeing each other. Throughout our course of dating, we discovered several similar interests as well as goals. We were engaged and married within two years and have now been married for eight years. We recently just bought a new home in a beautiful community with plenty of room to grow a family.

We both love to travel and explore new areas we have never been before. We have been traveling to different cities over the years such as Boston, Savannah, Seattle and many more both within the US and outside in other countries. We also love to cruise because of the opportunity to visits multiple places on a single trip. We also happen to be members of the Disney Vacation Club and love to go to Disney every couple of years. Lastly, we travel with our family once or twice a summer to Ocean City, New Jersey where we all get to spend time together.

Aside from traveling, we also enjoy working on house projects. We are both constructive people when it comes to building, maintaining and updating our home as well as making it decorative and unique to our personalities. Ian is an avid movie lover who also loves to read and cook. Michael is also into movies but enjoys learning about technology and all the new gadgets that are becoming available. Together we run a small independent film company where we take our love of films and help create movies/projects to tell stories that we want to tell. Lastly, we love spending time with family and friends, especially our nephews, who we can't wait to one day introduce to a cousin they can play with.

Michael started his career path working IT, but now works as a web developer for a children's hospital overseeing several projects at once. Ian currently works for the Emergency Health Services department for Bucks County where he is in charge of training and recruitment for EMS and all prehospital medical care. Ian also works part time as an EMT on a 911 Ambulance.

Our Home

We live in a small, brand new community in Montgomery County PA that was just developed over the last 2-3 years. We just moved in a little over a year ago. Our home has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathroom, a walkout basement, large deck off the dining room and a spacious backyard. We are blessed with amazing neighbors who love to get together for dinner and fun events.

Our community has a very diverse population of different races, religions and backgrounds including some of our immediate neighbors with tons of kids of all ages. We even have a newborn right across the street with Vietnamese heritage.

Our community is within walking distance of the middle school and high school which were just recently rebuilt in the last few years. We also have a handful of parks and playgrounds relatively close to us; some within walking distance and some within a ten minute drive.

Our Extended Family

Michael comes from a semi-large family who mostly live relatively close to each other. We spend a great amount of time with this side of the family due to their proximity and also due to the size. There is always a celebration to be had whether its a birthday, anniversary or anything related to their education or work promotion. Michael has 1 brother close in age and in turn has four nephews from him that vary in ages between 3 and 16. We have been there together as a couple for the birth of three of them and have a great relationship with this side of the family who can't wait to support us in our journey to have a family of our own.

Ian's family is smaller, with a majority of the family being spread throughout the country. Ian's parents live relatively close and are also very supportive in our family's journey. Ian does not have any immediate siblings, but a few half siblings who are all older. Ian does have a relationship with most of them, but does not get to see them often due to distance as the same with extended members of his family other than holidays or specified trips.

Our Family Traditions

We both value the importance of family, both traditional as well as the family we make up of important people in our lives, such as mentors and friends. We look forward to introducing our family Christmas traditions, our personal love for Halloween, our family trips and holidays to our potential child, as well as creating new traditions that belong to us.

One of our favorite things is to host dinner parties, whether it's family, catching up with family or getting to know our neighbors. This always allows us to keep up with everyone and socialize as well as allowing Ian to try new recipes when cooking.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have considered every possible route into expanding our family, but we always knew deep down that adopting was the path for us. We would love the opportunity to give a child that’s already in this world or on their way the best life we can possibly provide and show them the love we have been longing to give.
