Dear Birthmother,

Thank you so much for considering our family for your precious blessing’s forever family. We understand the gravity and difficulty of the decision you are making and want you to know that your baby will be loved beyond measure in our care for the rest of our lives. Your sacrifice for your child will never go unnoticed, and we will always make sure that your love for your baby is recognized in our journey together. Thank you for the selfless gift of life and for helping us create our own family. We welcome the opportunity to share this time with you and hope to make the transition as easy as it can be for you despite the overwhelming emotional toll this must be taking. We are here to be your teammate while you give your baby the gift of two parents who will love them with their whole hearts.

More than anything, we want you and your family to know that there will never be a shortage of love or care in our home for any child. You can trust us fully with your most precious gift. We will take every step to help your child grow and be afforded every opportunity that we can provide. We want to teach our children about the world, about love for their fellow man, and that anything can be accomplished with the right perseverance and care. Your child will be surrounded by a loving family, two sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, great aunts, and the wonderous magic of puppies.

We believe that children are miracles and deserve to be treated like the little wonders that they are. Raising a child to love their fellow man and have compassion for their neighbor is what allows us a little part in making the world a better place. Thank you for considering making us a part of your life and the life of your little one.

About Us

We met through mutual friends in 2015 in Jackson, MS. Through a fated turn of events, Daniel ended up moving to Jackson for work and a friendship developed that eventually turned into an incredible companionship. We moved to Regan’s hometown in December 2019 so she could open a satellite clinic for the child abuse clinic that she works for. We were married on November 6, 2021 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, at Palmetto’s on the Bayou. We live in Regan’s hometown of Hattiesburg, in southern Mississippi. Surrounded by loving family members and several sweet fur babies, we have a wonderful life together and are, quite literally, the best of friends.

A lengthy battle with miscarriage and failed fertility treatments made us realize that growing our family through adoption is what we are meant to do. Regan is a medical provider and works in the field of child protection and pediatrics, while Daniel is in construction and project management for a local design center. We believe that all things should be done in love and opening our home to, hopefully two children, ultimately, is the greatest gift we could give both a mama who needs a home for their baby and a child who needs love, care, compassion, and security.

We love to spend time traveling to family properties in New Orleans, Louisiana and to the coast of Florida, attending music festivals, classic car shows, and seeking out the best food in every city we travel to. We love to have a good time and love to share that with family. Making memories is a priority, and time spent together exploring this beautiful world is what we aim to do. Family is everything! We share a love of music and love attending live shows and festivals. We both have a varied musical taste and love all kinds of music from all types of genres and backgrounds. We can’t wait to share our love of great music with a little one!

We each have sons through previous relationships. Regan's son, Christian, is 25 years old and is out and about on his own. He was born when Regan just started college and has struggled with special needs his whole life. Given the circumstances of Christian's birth, Regan understands the struggle that young mamas face when seeking the best for their children. The love and support of Regan's extended family was such a blessing during his youth and paramount in his success and survival.

Daniel's son, William, is 12 years old and lives over 9 hours away with his mama, in another state. The distance makes it hard for visits to be more than a few times a year, but we know that he will LOVE to meet his new sibling. William likes to play soccer and loves video games. Visits with him are always filled with fun as the area of Florida he lives in has lots to do!! We wish that we got to see him more often, but time together is always so much fun!

We now own and are in the process of remodeling the 4 bedroom, 3½ bath home that Regan grew up in. That’s been such an exciting experience, and we can’t wait to see how that evolves with a new little personality added in! We have a swimming pool and lots of land around our house for adventures!

Our animals are a huge part of our life, and we love them like they were little people. We truly lucked out with the crew that we have, 3 girls and 1 boy that are the tightest little pack of their own. They are all great with all people and love children and other dogs. They will love the prospect of a new little person to love on and take care of every day. They all just love to lay around and be with their people. The youngest of the bunch is 3 years old (Bo) and our oldest is 7 years old (Layla).

“Your children are the greatest gift God will give to you, and their souls the heaviest responsibility He will place in your hands.” – Lisa Wingate

Our Home

The city that we live in is a college town and there is access to lots of sports, festivals, parades, zoos, and waterparks. Our house sits on family land that is bordered by our family “barn”. The “barn” as it is so affectionately called, was literally built from posts from Regan’s grandfather’s horse barn. It now boasts a living room, kitchen, master bedroom, bunk house, back porch, large cook shed, a well-stocked pond, and plenty of well-manicured woods to explore.

We spend a good bit of our time in our second family home in New Orleans where there is no limit to the amount of experiences and culture for a little one. We cannot wait to experience the city we love with our little one. The parks, zoos, aquarium, theaters, museums, music venues, riverboats, Mardi Gras!...there is just an endless supply of incredible resources for learning about new cultures and new experiences for a little person. We also have family property on the Alabama/Florida line at the beach. So much fun for little folks with amusement parks, beaches, and boat rides. Life with us will most certainly never be boring!

Our hope is to afford our babies the very best education available. There are several private schools where we live that have wonderful test scores, but our public schools are also great. As advocates for education, we will seek out the very best that our area has to offer for our children.

We are Christians and believe in the importance of raising children in Church and teaching them about Jesus. Our children will be taught about doing “unto others” and about the boundless compassions that Jesus teaches us to emulate.

Our Extended Family

Both of our parents are married and have been for decades. Regan’s parents (“Pop” and “Goggie”) have been married for 52 years and are an integral part of our day-to-day life. We spend a lot of time with them, cooking, hanging out, and traveling. They are the BEST people and amazing grandparents to Regan’s son and Regan’s brother’s daughter.

Daniel’s parents live in northern Mississippi. They have been married over 40 years. We don’t see them as often as we would like but travel to see them several times a year. Daniel’s brother and sister both have sons. So, there is lots of love to go around!

Regan’s aunt lives next door. She is just a barrel of laughs. At 85 years young, she keeps the family on their toes. In front of her house, lives Regan’s 101 year old great aunt. To say longevity is a plus on that side of the family is an understatement!

We spend a lot of time in New Orleans with Regan’s brother, Miles and sister-in-law, Lindsay. Miles and Lindsay are filmmakers and professors of film at a large university in the city. Miles and Lindsay welcomed little Lilie Anne, in July 2024. They too are animal lovers and have several sweet pups in their brood. We cannot wait to watch cousins at play!

Our child will be incorporated into our big, loving family with open arms and will never be considered any different than any biological child who is in our family. Everyone is so excited and so supportive of this journey for us and to experience it with us! We cannot wait to see what God has in store for our family! It is important for us to model the examples that we have of marriages that last, relationships that persevere, and people who genuinely care about and take care of each other.

Our Family Traditions

Most of our holidays are spent at the “barn”. It is a place that family comes together to celebrate and spend time together. Plenty of ballgames are watched, parties are had, presents are opened, and meals are shared in this space, which is so special to each of us.

Being from opposite ends of the state originally, the cultures we each bring to the table make for a home full of all different types of traditions. Daniel brings the blues and barbeque from North Mississippi, while Regan brings the love of crawfish, magnolias, and all things South Mississippi. Holidays are very important to our family, and Regan enjoys making sure that those times are spent steeped in tradition and togetherness, meals are always homemade, and “love” is the mission. Our family truly is one that loves being together and loves the traditions that make a family work.

What Led Us To Adoption

Our own battle with infertility has opened our eyes to the potential for growing our family through adoption. We believe that everyone has a purpose and that all things happen for a reason. We are passionate about providing a safe and loving home for our children to grow up and thrive in. We have so much love to give and believe that families come in all shapes and sizes. Biology only being one way to become a parent, our hearts are so very open to providing the best life for our little ones, however they might find us.
