Dear Birthmother,

To begin, I would like to thank you for taking the time to consider me as an adoptive mother. My name is Jaleh, and I live in Corona, California. I understand this may be a difficult time for you, so I hope that I am able to make you feel more comfortable in the decision that is best for you and your baby.

The reason I hope to be considered as an adoptive parent is because I am unable to bare children due to a uterine tumor. I have always had a longing to pour my love and affection into a child of my own. I grew up in a large family and always wanted to experience that for myself.

You are extremely brave and compassionate for giving your baby the chance to have a family and well fulfilled life. Even if I am not your choice, I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to read my profile. Blessings!

About Me

I live in Corona, California with my two dogs and two cats. I originally came to America twenty years ago from Iran to pursue my specialty in the medical field. I always knew I wanted to have a family of my own, and I am now ready physically, financially and mentally to care for a child.

If I had to use three words to describe myself, they would be loving, consistent and patient. I am a family-oriented woman and have always been a rock in caring for my family members. My core values are family, faith and community, and I hope that if I am offered the blessing of raising a child, I can instill these same values in them.

For a living, I am a Physician Informaticist for Kaiser Permanente. My favorite activity and best talent is playing the piano. I have been playing since I was a young girl. I enjoy spending quality time with my friends, family and pets. I do enjoy traveling as well, when I have the time. I recently took a trip to Turkey with my family and thoroughly enjoyed seeing and learning about the culture of the country. Other activities I enjoy include walking, seeing movies and reading. I also have sporting experience in weightlifting, karate, volleyball, basketball and ping pong. I hope to pass these skills on to a future child so they may potentially experience the fun and joy that I did from these activities. I will help them explore their own interests as well.

My Home

I live in a gated community centered towards families. I have an extremely diverse neighborhood with families that come from different ethnicities and cultures. Within our community, there are multiple parks for children and pets. We also have pools, safe walking spaces and friendly neighbors. On weekends and holidays our community hosts events for residents to meet one another and partake in family friendly activities.

As for my home, I have four bedrooms and three bathrooms. I have options for a future nursery, but the room I prefer is the room that has ample light and space for playing. My backyard would be a great space for a child to play in. There is room for toys and running around. I am also located one block away from the park.

My Extended Family

Family is one of the most important aspects of my life. My parents have been married for 63 years and raised my 4 siblings and myself. We all remain close and committed to keeping our family bond strong even if distance separates us at times. Our family is very large, yet our traditions have kept us together.

My Family Traditions

My family is unique in our traditions and Iranian holidays. Most of our holidays are centered around family and community. One of my family's favorite traditions revolves around the Iranian New Year. The 12 days leading up to the new year consist of visiting all our closest friends and family members. We engage in communal dinners, games and other activities. On the 13th day of the celebrations, our family comes together in reunion for a picnic. I believe this tradition has truly been beneficial in forming my devotion to family and community values.

What Led Me To Adoption

I have always been interested in adopting a child because I am unable to have children of my own due to a tumor. I have always wanted a family of my own, and adoption was the perfect opportunity for my situation. My goal is to provide children with the love-filled home they deserve.
