Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We are Veronica and Carlos. We are starting our adoption journey once again to complete our little family. We started our first adoption in 2017 and it has been a huge blessing. We cannot wait to bring another blessing into our hearts and our home.

About Us

Veronica is a very driven and positive person. She loves to challenge herself and loves being a mom. She has always known that being a mom was the one thing in life that would bring her complete joy. She learned to love herself and accomplish her personal goals before she dedicated herself in all aspects to starting a family.

Carlos has loved sports since high school. He is a very driven and hard working person. He loves being able to take care of his family and spend time with them. He also feels that once they started a family, they were fully ready to take it on.

We adopted our now two year old son, Logan, in 2017. He is such a character and makes us laugh. He has been the biggest blessing. He loves kids younger than him. He looks at them and smiles, followed with a big hello. We are looking for a little sister for Logan. We want both of them to be there for each other as adopted children.

As a family, we love camping, going to the beach and traveling. We just came back from an amazing trip to the Dominican Republic. We also enjoy going to football, hockey and baseball games. We also value taking time for ourselves and doing what we love individually. Veronica enjoys painting, baking, cooking and reading. Carlos likes to spend his free time working out, watching or playing sports, BBQing and just hanging out. We have a small, but tight-knit group of friends whom we have grown with as parents and individuals.

Our Home

We found what we consider our perfect forever home. We have a two story home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We love our neighborhood. It is quiet, friendly and diverse. On our circle alone we have, Asian, White, Mexican and African American neighbors, We are always looking out for one another. We all get together for the Fourth of July. Everyone in our circle brings their BBQs to the middle of the street and we all gather together to share our food and watch the kids play while we wait for the fireworks.

We have worked very hard to make this house our home. We love spending time outside in our fenced in backyard. We can relax under our covered patio, play ball with Logan or fill up his kiddie pool, if it is warm enough. We also have a park nearby that we visit a few times a week. Each baby will have their own room, adorably decorated.

Our Extended Family

Veronica has awesome memories growing up. Her parents made sure they spent family time together every weekend. They always did something special with them, like movie nights where the kids picked the movie and favorite snack. They would go to Chuck E. Cheese, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, the beach, etc.

Carlos has always been very close to his family. His uncles and cousins have always been people he has counted on since he was a kid. His mom always worked very hard to provide for them. A strong work ethic and providing for your family are values she instilled in Carlos.

Our Family Traditions

Veronica's mom always made the holidays special for them. She made their Halloween costumes by hand and made personalized Easter baskets for each kid. These are traditions Veronica is continuing with her family.

Holidays for Carlos's family have always included a full house of all the people he loves. His house was the gathering place for most events. He fondly remembers always being surrounded by family. To this day when they get together, they can still fill up a room!

What Led Us To Adoption

We have dreamed of having our little family for a long time. We have been together for 15 years and after failed infertility treatments, we did not give up hope. We decided to opt for adoption instead of going the next step to infertility treatments. We knew that the end goal was to be parents, no matter how that happened. Once we decided to change our course to become parents we felt a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. We knew that it was not if we would become parents, but WHEN!

We want to be a family with goals and good morals. We want to be there for our children no matter what. Our goal is to build beautiful memories together and be great role models to our kids.

I adopted our son as a newborn after going through 12 years of infertility. Now, 23 years later, I am director at Everlasting Adoptions. Shortly after adopting our son, I started to feel a calling towards adoption. My career as a Human Resource Manager in Corporate America came to an end, and I entered what I now know is my purpose and passion in life — building families through the miracle of adoption.

Working with birthmothers and adoptive parents throughout the US for over 20 years has allowed me to utilize the skills I have been blessed with to serve others. I come to work every day not as a staff member coming to a job from 9 to 5, but as a person who is extremely dedicated and devoted to helping people like you every single day. I feel very blessed to have found my purpose, and I look forward to helping you with your adoption needs!
