Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to stop and read our profile. We are Ryan and Trinity from Victorville, California. We have been married for seventeen years. Both of us are instructors at the local community college. Education and a well-rounded life are important to us.

Raising children of our own was always a common goal. Unfortunately, we could not have children of our own. We now know that we were meant to adopt a child. We have the means and background to provide a safe place to live, a good education, and most importantly, lots of love. We have family close by who will also love and provide for the child we bring into our home. The desire for us to raise a child is so important to us that we are reaching out to you, hoping that we will provide what you desire most for your child.

About Us

We have been married for 17 years and met in high school when we were 15 years old. We have both lived in California our whole lives. Family is so important to us and we love spending time with them. We are also both instructors at Victor Valley Community

We love to eat. We love going to interesting restaurants and trying new food. We will try pretty much anything! We really enjoy how creative chefs have become when it comes to vegan cooking. One time we had a s'mores pie that was vegan, and delicious. We found out that the marshmallows were made from the liquid that is in a can of garbanzo beans. If you whip the garbanzo bean water and put sugar in, it acts like egg whites and creates a meringue that you can toast like a marshmallow. We were so blown away that we went to a grocery store on our way home so that we could try to recreate the s'mores pie. The ingredients sound so gross, but it was so good.

We also love the arts. We often see ballets or other types of dance shows. We frequent art museums and concerts in LA too. Ryan spends his free time reading, writing and working on novels. He has published stories in various magazines and journals. He also enjoys cooking recipes that incorporate rich flavors with healthy ingredients. Trinity loves to exercise in pretty much any form. She takes many group classes at the gym, like Zumba, weightlifting, mixed martial arts, U-Jam dance classes, etc. She also draws and plays the piano in her free time, learning songs from the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack and the Downton Abbey theme song.

Our Home

We live in beautiful Southern California, a little over an hour away from Los Angeles. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parks nearby. Within a mile we have an elementary school and middle school. A mile from our home is Mojave Narrows, a state park with a lake, hiking path, bike path, and water pad. Our backyard looks out on the valley, giving us beautiful sunrises.

Our backyard has plenty of room for a child to run around. We also have room inside to play on those rainy days. We have a nice big couch with plenty of room to spread out on and watch movies and eat snacks. The surrounding area offers so much to do and we have family who live nearby and visit us often.

Our Extended Family

Family is the most important thing to us. We always make a point to celebrate special occassions with our families. When a baby is born in the family, we get in the car or are on the next flight to see the new baby. When there is a birthday, we are meeting at a restaurant or someone's house to celebrate.

We have many nieces and nephews, from infants to college graduates. Ryan's brother and wife are about to have triplets! Trinity has lived in the same city her entire life and her parents still live in her childhood home. She has always stayed in the area because she wanted her family to be near when she had her own family. Her brother and his wife and child live less than a mile away, and her parents are also close. Growing up she loved her grandma so much she wants to make sure that her kids have a great relationship with their grandparents too. All of our family members are eager to welcome a new addition to the family.

Our Family Traditions

Holidays are all about family. We enjoy making big meals and feasting around the holidays. Christmas and Thanksgiving mean big sprawls of food with turkey and ham and all the sides of mashed potatoes and green beans (Trinity’s favorite) and scalloped potatoes. We sit around the dinner table at holidays and enjoy the company of family and any special friends who might be visiting.

The Christmas holidays are all about the children. It’s a special time for them. It’s a thrill to watch them get excited about their presents. It’s so fun to watch them play with one another. Our big Christmas tradition is stockings. Trinity’s mom made massive stockings for everyone in the family. After Christmas dinner, we have a great time going through our stockings, cheering what everyone got!

What Led Us To Adoption

For years, we tried having our own children. When it didn’t happen naturally, we tried going to doctors. That didn’t work either. We decided that adoption would be our best option and we are excited to take this journey to become parents.

I adopted our son as a newborn after going through 12 years of infertility. Now, 23 years later, I am director at Everlasting Adoptions. Shortly after adopting our son, I started to feel a calling towards adoption. My career as a Human Resource Manager in Corporate America came to an end, and I entered what I now know is my purpose and passion in life — building families through the miracle of adoption.

Working with birthmothers and adoptive parents throughout the US for over 20 years has allowed me to utilize the skills I have been blessed with to serve others. I come to work every day not as a staff member coming to a job from 9 to 5, but as a person who is extremely dedicated and devoted to helping people like you every single day. I feel very blessed to have found my purpose, and I look forward to helping you with your adoption needs!
