Dear Birthmother,

We are Tim and Kayleen from the fertile land of Lancaster County Pennsylvania where we can enjoy all four seasons. We would love to care for your baby and have them as part of our family. We want to give your baby a wonderful home where they will feel loved and accepted.

Our friends and extended family are an important part of our lives. They can hardly wait to meet the little someone who we hope you will allow to become part of our lives. We have three boys. We wish for another child or two to love unconditionally and complete our family!

About Us

We feel so blessed with the three boys God has given to us, Brendon (14), Kent (10) and Greg (8). We want our children to grow up having good work ethics and knowing right from wrong and being a blessing and help to the family and community instead of a liability. We do many things together as a family. We are Christians so singing together, praying, reading the Bible, going to church and being involved with our church family is very important to us. We are often doing things "for the boys", not even thinking if we ourselves like to do it, but if they like it then it is fun for all of us!

Tim is a manager at a diesel engine service shop located just down the hill from our house, surrounded by trees. He loves his work and has a good business going. Kayleen is a stay-at-home mom and has fun taking care of her family; cooking, cleaning, sewing, gardening, reading to the family, having guests, taking family trips and many more things!

Our Home

Our property of a few acres is situated on the side of a hill in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. Our house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We are situated on a rather unique setting surrounded by woods, some rock, flower gardens with a little bridge and stone path with steps, a yard with swings, sandbox and trampoline, a large vegetable garden, small chicken house and a driveway to ride bikes and go sledding. We all work together in our vegetable garden to weed, pick, can and freeze the vegetables for the wintertime.

Our Extended Family

Tim grew up in Lancaster County Pennsylvania in a family with 5 sisters. We attend the same church Tim went to with his family and our boys go to the same school he went to from 5th grade on up!

Kayleen grew up in Tioga County Pennsylvania in a family with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. We are both used to country living and both of our families are a big part of our lives. Our boys have a total of 41 cousins which they love to be with and have lots of fun with! The newest one was just born this summer. They have an adopted cousin, ArieOnna, who is 3 years old. Our “church family” actually has 7 adoptees in it and Kayleen has 6 adopted cousins!

Our families live in Kentucky, South Dakota, Alberta, Canada and various parts of Pennsylvania. We also have relatives in Ohio, Virginia, New York, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Montana, Washington, California, Texas, Florida, England and Saskatchewan, Canada. Besides those places we have friends in Massachusetts, Vermont, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Guatemala. We love being with people, family and friends!

Our Family Traditions

We love to travel and visit our friends and relatives. We go on road trips and fly. We’ve been in Guatemala, Egypt, and Canada, besides many of the states. We know how to travel with babies and toddlers! We’ve driven hours and flew when Greg was a baby and Kent was 2 years old and Brendon was 6. We have toys, books, balloons, etc. along while we drive and we talk and play games and listen to CDs, so everyone is occupied!

We have cookouts in our backyard or at a park with friends or relatives. We go places like Pennsylvania’s Grand Canyon and camp, bike, hike, or wade in Pine Creek and enjoy nature. We go to other parks and the boys love the playgrounds and hiking trails. We go places like the Baltimore Aquarium, Longwood Gardens, Air and Space Museum, the Atlantic Ocean and the Choo Choo Barn.

We go along on our boys school trips and school hikes to places like the State Capitol, Statue of Liberty, Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine, Strasburg Railroad, Hands on House Museum, and beautiful parks with walking trails. We play softball, volleyball, and running games with the school children when we visit school.

What Led Us To Adoption

We feel that the Lord has led us to adoption. We are ready to give another baby a loving home an family. We want to give your baby a wonderful home where they will feel loved and accepted.

I adopted our son as a newborn after going through 12 years of infertility. Now, 23 years later, I am director at Everlasting Adoptions. Shortly after adopting our son, I started to feel a calling towards adoption. My career as a Human Resource Manager in Corporate America came to an end, and I entered what I now know is my purpose and passion in life — building families through the miracle of adoption.

Working with birthmothers and adoptive parents throughout the US for over 20 years has allowed me to utilize the skills I have been blessed with to serve others. I come to work every day not as a staff member coming to a job from 9 to 5, but as a person who is extremely dedicated and devoted to helping people like you every single day. I feel very blessed to have found my purpose, and I look forward to helping you with your adoption needs!
