Dear Birthmother,

Thank you so much for taking the time to look through our profile as you consider all of your options! We recognize that you are somewhere in the process of an impossible task in trying to figure out what is right for you and your baby and we pray for you to have the strength and courage you need as you journey through this process.

Our names are Phil and Meg. We met in 2002, while still in school and working together at a local supermarket. We started dating a few months after meeting and have been together ever since. We got married in 2007, and knew from the beginning that we wanted to have a family. After struggling with infertility for many years, we decided that it was time to start pursuing other options. Although we cannot have children of our own, we are very excited to grow our family through adoption. We want to adopt because we feel like we have so much to offer a child - love, happiness, safety, stability and so much more.

We are so excited to become parents and open our hearts and home to a child. Hopefully, you can get a glimpse of the unconditional love and support that we can offer by looking through our profile.

About Us

Phil grew up with his parents, sister and brothers and is the fourth born of five children. His parents divorced when he was 12 years old. Phil has many fond memories of family vacations and camping trips with his immediate family, aunts, uncles and cousins. These trips created life long memories, which they still laugh about all these years later.

From a young age, Phil's parents instilled in him the importance of hard work and respecting others. He went to the Art Institute of Philadelphia and is certified in Baking and Pastry. Phil always has tons of energy and loves being active. He is very handy and loves doing projects around the house. He also loves to cook and barbeque. Phil loves sports, both playing and watching.

Meg grew up in a very close family and is the oldest of three children. Meg has very happy memories of her childhood, taking family vacations down the Jersey shore, swimming at her aunt and uncle's pool and playing with the neighbor kids. She has always loved being a big sister and found joy in helping to take care of her younger sister and brother.

Meg loves reading mystery novels, listening to music, watching movies and shopping. She also loves to cook and bake, especially around the holidays. Meg enjoys watching Food Network and HGTV and coming up with new recipes and decorating ideas.

Our Home

Our home is open, airy and full of laughter. We live in a small, family-oriented neighborhood in the northeastern suburbs of Philadelphia. We are close to nice playgrounds and are in a great school district. Our home is two-stories with a bright and open first floor with tons of windows and natural light. There is plenty of room to relax and play. We have a bedroom waiting to someday become a nursery. Our backyard is completely fenced in, has a large deck with plenty of outdoor seating and lots of grassy space to run and play. We also have one of the prettiest gardens on the block. Phil is very lucky to have a green thumb and loves to spend weekends working outside gardening and landscaping.

We consider the kitchen and dining room to be the heart of our home as we both love to cook, bake and entertain our family and friends. We enjoy hosting large holiday dinners and get-togethers just to spend time with the ones we love.

Our Extended Family

When it comes to family, we feel like we hit the jackpot! We are very grateful to have the majority of our family living close by. We have an entire support system who are excited to see our family grow through adoption and eager to welcome a new little one.

Our family is rich with time-honored and somewhat silly traditions. We are always there to help and support one another and love spending time together. We often have big Sunday dinners, get together to watch Football or have family game nights. Meg's side of the family likes board games and Phil's side of the family is fond of Pinochle; either way it can get quite competitive.

Our Family Traditions

We love to get together to celebrate milestones and spend birthdays and holidays together. It is always the more, the merrier and there is always an abundance of laughter and good food. We love to go all out decorating, whether it be our enormous Christmas tree (that family and friends have often used for photo shoots), to the massive and spooky Halloween display in our front yard, or the Easter Egg Hunt that we have each year. Each summer, we look forward to family picnics and barbeques for Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. We gather outside to grill, swim, talk and just enjoy all our family’s company.

If there is one tradition that we look forward to continuing from Phil’s side of the family, it is the Christmas Eve gathering with a dinner buffet filled with traditional Polish fare, such as pierogi, flounder and mushroom soup. There is also the obligatory visit from Santa, of course. The tradition from Meg’s side of the family that we look forward to carrying on for years to come is the annual cookie day for the holidays. This is an all-day affair where multiple generations come together to bake Christmas cookies.

What Led Us To Adoption

After struggling with infertility for many years, we decided that it was time to start pursuing other options and are very excited to grow our family through adoption. We want to adopt because we feel like we have so much to offer a child – love, happiness, safety, stability and so much more. Our family and friends are very supportive of our decision to adopt and excited to help us welcome a new little one.

I adopted our son as a newborn after going through 12 years of infertility. Now, 23 years later, I am director at Everlasting Adoptions. Shortly after adopting our son, I started to feel a calling towards adoption. My career as a Human Resource Manager in Corporate America came to an end, and I entered what I now know is my purpose and passion in life — building families through the miracle of adoption.

Working with birthmothers and adoptive parents throughout the US for over 20 years has allowed me to utilize the skills I have been blessed with to serve others. I come to work every day not as a staff member coming to a job from 9 to 5, but as a person who is extremely dedicated and devoted to helping people like you every single day. I feel very blessed to have found my purpose, and I look forward to helping you with your adoption needs!
