Dear Birthmother,

We know this is a difficult decision to make and we admire your courage and strength. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We are Kennedy and Priscilla. Our journey began 12 years ago when we were in high school. We were friends in school but drifted apart after graduation. We ran into each other at the grocery store 2 years later and have been inseparable ever since.

In the past 8 years that we have been together, we have built an amazing life. We have great jobs, own our own home and have 3 very spoiled pets (2 golden retrievers and a cat). We are just missing the one thing that we have always wanted, a child. Adoption has always made sense to us. We have considered other options, but everything has always led back to adoption. Should you choose us to raise your child, you can rest assured that they will have a happy, fulfilling life and the world will be theirs to explore.

About Us

We met in high school and became friends instantly. We reconnected a couple years after high school and started dating. The rest is history! We have been together for nearly 8 years.

We both work for an insurance company handling automobile claims. Working from home allows a lot of time and flexibility day-to-day. Priscilla is more reserved and introverted while Kennedy is more outgoing and extroverted, so we tend to balance each other out. We love spending time with family and friends, checking out the new local restaurants and most of all, traveling!

Kennedy loves to experiment in the kitchen with new recipe ideas and explore all the beautiful scenery that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. On a rainy day, you'll find her curled up in a chair with a blanket and a true crime book.

Priscilla enjoys gardening and doing DIY projects around the house, which has kept her busy since purchasing our home last year. On a typical weekend, you'll find her coaching her Godson's soccer games or bringing our 2 Golden Retrievers, Izzie & Charlie, to the local dog parks.

We have 3 pets and they are our entire world! We have 2 dogs and a cat. Charlie is a 4 year old Golden Retriever and we have had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is definitely the “mommy dog” with the other animals. When our nieces and nephews are over, all she wants to do is cuddle with them 24/7. Izzie is 1.5 year old Golden Retriever and we have had her since she was 6 weeks old. She is very goofy and extremely playful. She always has to have a toy in her mouth and could play fetch for hours. She is really sweet and gentle with children. Bandit is our 2 year old black and white long haired cat and we have had her since she was 6 weeks old. She is very independent and playful. When she isn’t running around the house with her mouse toy, you’ll find her curled up with her blanket at the top of her cat tree.

Our Home

We own a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom 2,500 square foot home in Puyallup, WA, which is about 45 minutes south of Seattle, WA. We live on a quiet, dead end street in a great part of town. We have a nursery set up next to the master bedroom and a large, fully fenced backyard. We are a short drive from amazing hiking trails, beaches, zoos and in walking distance to several local parks.

Our home is a 15 minute drive to Kennedy's mom's house as well as her brother. It is also a 10 minute drive to Priscilla's brother's house. Being close to our family is very important because we get together frequently and have family dinners every Sunday.

Our Extended Family

Family is the most important aspect in our life. We try to spend as much time as we can with our families. Kennedy comes from a very large, tight-knit family. They are always going on day trips and out to dinner. Priscilla's family is a little more spread out with most of them living in Oregon or Nevada. Even though they do not see each other too often, they still make it a point to call and video chat regularly.

Our family is ecstatic that we are growing our family through the journey of adoption. Our future child will be spoiled and showered with love from both sides of our family.

Our Family Traditions

A favorite tradition for Kennedy's family is annual ravioli making day. All her immediate and extended family get together at her grandma's house and spend the day making nearly 40 batches of ravioli completely from scratch. The ravioli is served at their annual Christmas Eve party. It is a day filled with a lot of laughs, a little bit of mess, but most of all love.

For Priscilla's family, we get together with her siblings every year and take a family vacation. This year we went to Huntington Beach, CA where we spent most of the time lounging and playing games on the beach. We also had a blast at the pier and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Our future child will be spoiled and showered with love from both sides of our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption is something that we have always wanted. We are at the point in our lives where we are ready to welcome a child into our homes and create an amazing life together.
