Dear Birthmother,

We want you to know first and foremost that we are here to support you in this uncertain time when you are trying to decide the best course of action for you and your sweet baby. We want to thank you for choosing life and possibly adoption. We appreciate your interest in our family. Please know that your child will be so loved with us. We have both longed to be parents since we were little, and will provide your child with a happy, healthy, secure, and loving home. Please know that as we pray for a baby, we are also praying for you. We want you to make the best possible choice for you and your baby, and we hope that your choice brings you to us.

About Us

We are from Nebraska and have lived there our whole lives. We met online, dated for two years and have been married for a little over one year. A month after getting married, we moved to a small town where Levi started an elementary teaching job. We bought a house and got our sweet little dog named Leo. We love our town and plan to stay here long term.

Levi works as an elementary teacher and coach. Currently he is teaching 5th grade and 4th-6th grade Social Studies. He loves coaching football, so he can see the older kids too. Jenna is a registered nurse. She works in an ICU, teaches nursing students and fills in at the area clinics when needed. She is currently in school for her doctorate degree as a nurse practitioner and will graduate in 2020.

We enjoy doing many activities together such as golfing, cooking and going to movies. We are both movie buffs and just love the atmosphere and buttered popcorn! We live about 25 miles from a nice lake where we can go camping with the family.

Our Home

We purchased our home just one year ago in a quiet and rural Nebraskan town. It was built in 1960 and looked as if all the insides were original! Since moving in, we have painted, bought new furniture and started to renovate to modernize the inside. We have a full basement, that would make a perfect playroom, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large living room and eat-in kitchen on the main floor. With our renovations we now have a perfect room for a future nursery right next to our bedroom. The floorplan makes a circle and our dog, nieces and nephews all love running circles around it. Our house is on a corner lot with lots of grass to run around on.

We live one block from the school where Levi works. The neighborhood is a good mixture of young families with children and older couples. With being so close to the school, we have children around outside all the time and our nextdoor neighbor runs a daycare. We take Leo up to the school playground to let him run around and play fetch. The town has a pool, park, golf course, library, ice cream shop, bowling alley and hosts the county fair so there are many opportunities for fun family activities right in our own town.

Our Extended Family

Both of our families are very happy we are choosing to adopt. They have faith in us that we will make excellent parents. Knowing we have their support means the world to us. We both love and cherish our families and having their support helps solidify our path.

Each of our parents have been married for over 35 years. We have many nieces and nephews, ranging in age from newborn through 8 years old, who are excited to welcome a new cousin to play with! Both of our immediate families live in Nebraska, which makes it easy to get together often.

Our Family Traditions

Holidays are the time when we hold our families near to our hearts. We make it a point to celebrate both sides of the family for each holiday. Your child will be part of a wonderful extended family where holidays are special. We love decorating, dressing up, and cooking tons of food for every holiday! For Christmas, we always put up a tree with lights. This past Christmas was our first in our own home, so we also decorated the outside with lights. We always drive around with hot chocolate and look at the Christmas lights in the neighborhood and area towns!

We are trying to start a new family tradition of taking a vacation every summer. Our first was our honeymoon last summer, when we took a road trip through several cities including St. Louis, Nashville, Pensacola, New Orleans and Oklahoma City. This year we are going on a smaller vacation to Minneapolis. In the future, we hope to go on family vacations with our extended family so the cousins all get to play together.

What Led Us To Adoption

Knowing it would be difficult to have children, we discussed all our options and adoption was definitely on the list. We were both interested in adoption and since then the interest has increasingly grown. As we struggle with our infertility, we are hopeful to think that someday we could be gifted a beautiful child to love and raise as our own.

I adopted our son as a newborn after going through 12 years of infertility. Now, 23 years later, I am director at Everlasting Adoptions. Shortly after adopting our son, I started to feel a calling towards adoption. My career as a Human Resource Manager in Corporate America came to an end, and I entered what I now know is my purpose and passion in life — building families through the miracle of adoption.

Working with birthmothers and adoptive parents throughout the US for over 20 years has allowed me to utilize the skills I have been blessed with to serve others. I come to work every day not as a staff member coming to a job from 9 to 5, but as a person who is extremely dedicated and devoted to helping people like you every single day. I feel very blessed to have found my purpose, and I look forward to helping you with your adoption needs!
