Dear Birthmother,

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading our profile. Our names are Jade, Will, and Cooper. We would be honored if you chose us to raise your baby girl. You probably have a million reasons for choosing an adoption plan, but rest assured, we have a million reasons for wanting her in our arms.

After going through a difficult pregnancy with our son, Cooper, we feel that adoption is the way we are meant to complete our family. If you were to trust us with her, the three of us promise to protect and cherish her for the rest of our lives. We promise to provide her with everything she needs, as well as some of the things she may want without spoiling her. Above all, we promise to always give her all of the love and the support that she needs. Thank you for letting us into your heart.

About Us

We met each other 8 years ago, when we had both started working at a movie theater. We became friends, but then just over a year later, Jade moved away to go to college in Oregon. After having lost touch with each other for about a year, we started to talk via Facebook and on the phone. Soon after, Will started to ride the bus all the way to Oregon State University just to visit. The rest is history. We couldn’t stay away from each other and fell in love. In 2014, we had the other love of our life- our son Cooper.

Education is very important to our family. While Jade was pregnant with Cooper, Will went to school and worked full-time. When Jade decided to go back to school, Will did an amazing job at supporting their family. Now Jade is a middle school math teacher, a job that she loves with all of her heart.

We love having dinner and game nights with family and friends. We also like taking small family trips to California and Nevada, and hope to one day visit England, Italy, Japan, Egypt, New Zealand, and even France where Jade’s grandparents live for most of the year. Practicing French is another pass time for Jade and Cooper so that we’ll be ready when that day comes.

Since we both grew up in lower-income families, we're very proud to say that we are able to raise our children in a life that is better than what we had. We're also proud to say that we have a very strong support system; our family and friends. We're so lucky to have such amazing people in our lives who will fall head-over-heels with the baby girl we welcome into our family.

Our Home

We live in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a nice neighborhood, in a very diverse town. Our house is right next to a pond, a park and an elementary school. Our favorite things about the house are how spacious it is (compared to the apartments Jade has always lived in while growing up), the garden we planted and the awesome backyard that Cooper and his sister will get to run around in.

Our Extended Family

We have a lot of traditions that make our family really special. We spend a lot of time with our family. Every weekend, we visit with Jade's mom, "Gigi". Cooper also gets to go over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a few hours on Mondays and Tuesdays when our work schedules overlap. We're lucky, because it means that we don't have to pay for daycare and we know that Cooper is safe and being well cared for. Every few months we play Trivia with Will's sister, Lindsey. We've won first place every time too!

Our Family Traditions

Other family traditions include, going to the pumpkin patch every October and taking a picture next to the “How Tall This Fall” sign. We also stop at Grandma and Grandpa’s house to trick-or-treat. We’re starting new traditions as a family, such as going camping every summer and letting Cooper decorate the smaller of our two Christmas tree. We’re definitely looking forward to sharing these traditions with our future daughter, as well as making new ones with her.

What Led Us To Adoption

After having a difficult pregnancy with our son, we feel that adoption was meant for us. We believe that the miracle of adoption helps to build a brighter world. We’re looking forward to completing our family of four.

I adopted our son as a newborn after going through 12 years of infertility. Now, 23 years later, I am director at Everlasting Adoptions. Shortly after adopting our son, I started to feel a calling towards adoption. My career as a Human Resource Manager in Corporate America came to an end, and I entered what I now know is my purpose and passion in life — building families through the miracle of adoption.

Working with birthmothers and adoptive parents throughout the US for over 20 years has allowed me to utilize the skills I have been blessed with to serve others. I come to work every day not as a staff member coming to a job from 9 to 5, but as a person who is extremely dedicated and devoted to helping people like you every single day. I feel very blessed to have found my purpose, and I look forward to helping you with your adoption needs!
