Dear Birthmother,
It is difficult to know what to start off with other than we are so happy and grateful that you are considering us. We are a happy, fun, loving and supportive couple. We joke around and love enjoying life. As an only child, I knew from and early age I wanted to adopt. Joey, on the other hand, lost a daughter at birth 15 years ago and has since wanted to adopt. Please, just look in your heart and we think you will see what great parents we will be. Thank you so much!

About Us
We have a unique story of how we became a couple. We had crossed paths for over 20 years, but never officially met. Finally, that all ended when we met on a dating website. We talked and texted for hours for two weeks before we met. On Halloween, we finally officially met! Two months later, Joey decided he couldn't live without Brandy and proposed. Four months later, in April, we were married.
We have been married three wonderful years. We love to travel and go to Ole Miss football and basketball games. We love spending time with our family and friends, whether it's grilling or a crawfish boil, we always have fun. We also love to play board games. Brandy and her best friend, Carra are undefeated against Joey and his best friend, Robert who also happen to be married to each other. We are just a fun-loving couple who enjoy life.
Our Home
We live in a small, country town with a population of about 6,100. We live in a great academic school district. About 15 minutes from our home is a small Amish community. You can go and buy vegetables and canned goods from them or even homemade soap. Just a short drive from our home are numerous parks and state parks. We also have Mississippi's longest Rails to Trails trail in our town that runs 43 miles. We like to walk this trail during the warmer months. It's paved so would be great for a stroller. We have a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home with a porch on the front and a covered porch on the back. We have a very nice backyard that we are always working in. Our house was originally a 3 bedroom, but we added the new bedroom for a nursery.
Our Extended Family
We have always heard the phrase "it takes a village" and we truly believe that is true. We have such a great group of people that are family, who are ready to love and support a new baby. Brandy is an only child, but is best friends with her mom. Her mom is a widow. She may be 70, but looks 40 and is still very active. She is looking forward to another grandchild.
Brandy's dad and stepmom have been married 31 years. Unfortunately they live in another state, so we only get to visit once or twice a year. Joey's family is like the kind you would see on TV. He has an older sister and a younger brother who he is super close with. Joey's parents are wonderful and have been married 48 years. His family is always doing something together, whether it be Easter, Christmas or going to Ole Miss Football games.
Our Family Traditions
We love spending time with family and friends, enjoying life and just having fun. We love being outdoors hiking, swimming at the lake and grilling out. We love traveling, whether to the beach or to the mountains. We enjoy attending Ole Miss football games and New Orleans. We love spending time with friends, especially our best friends, who happen to be married to each other.
What Led Us To Adoption
As an only child, I knew from and early age I wanted to adopt. Joey, on the other hand, lost a daughter at birth 15 years ago and has since wanted to adopt. Please, just look in your heart and we think you will see what great parents we will be.

I adopted our son as a newborn after going through 12 years of infertility. Now, 23 years later, I am director at Everlasting Adoptions. Shortly after adopting our son, I started to feel a calling towards adoption. My career as a Human Resource Manager in Corporate America came to an end, and I entered what I now know is my purpose and passion in life — building families through the miracle of adoption.
Working with birthmothers and adoptive parents throughout the US for over 20 years has allowed me to utilize the skills I have been blessed with to serve others. I come to work every day not as a staff member coming to a job from 9 to 5, but as a person who is extremely dedicated and devoted to helping people like you every single day. I feel very blessed to have found my purpose, and I look forward to helping you with your adoption needs!
